CustomMade by Scott Reuman
This amazing formal dining room set, including two matching mirror-image corner display cabinets, dining table seats 4-8, sideboard with mottled makore and carved aspen-leaf pulls, silver inlay along with wood inlay of various species, eight chairs, diamond match crotch mahogany, internal lighting … in display cabinets, curved glass doors, inlaid chairs, specially designed drawers in sideboard, and more, was designed/built by one man, commissioned by one family, designed around a Colorado theme for this Boulder, CO home. Inlay includes aspen leaves and branches, some silver leaves as "ghosts" of fallen autumn leaves, matching table leaves with inlay, and inlay and holly stringing in many parts. The drawer pulls are carved aspen leaves, as are the custom designed door latches on the matching corner cabinets. There are even wooden plugs for the corner cabinet lighting. Extensive inlay in the rear wall of both corner cabinets fits in with the elegant collection of glassware and ceramics and loved antiques. This dining room is the definition of elegant.

Mesmerizing Pendulum Steel Ball Swing Set
by Carl J. Sep 11th 2012
I wanted Scott to create a "Mesmerizing Steel Pendulum Swing Set" for a friend who teaches 7th grade science, as a birthday present but also as a contribution to the little science museum that he keeps for his pupils mounted on shelves and desks around the room. The 10 pendulums swings from side-to-side and mark a series of alternating patterns in the air. Some, probably most, kids will just be interested in the cool 'mesmerizing' patterns that they see. But maybe one or two of them might become interested in the physics behind the seemingly autonomous patterns that show up.
