Foyer Screen Door
Customer's goal was to have a screen barrier to provide additional air circulation throughout the house as well as a pet containment area. Artisan Woodworking chose naturally water resistant lumber, rather than chemically treated wood, to create a safer environment for children … and pets. The stock was dressed down to approximately 2" thickness to give a solid and bold appearance, complete with removable screens. The finish was a water-based stain specifically designed for this type of lumber.
