After receiving an incomplete in my first woodworking class in undergrad I made this piece during the summer after the spring semester. The deal was finish ANYTHING and I will give you the grade you deserve. I chose to create a reproduction of the Frank Lloyd Wright Barrel Chair from the Martin … House in Buffalo New York.

WIth nothing more then some pictures to go off of and the overall height of the piece my father and I created a pair of these chairs. The chairs and research were completed before the end of the summer and I received the grade my professor thought adequate.

This chair is constructed out of quarter-sawn white oak and upholstered in a French satin wool.
