These 3 layer French doors were made using a technique I developed specifically for this project. The flora was sandblasted into the glass, then silver leafed. Using leaf skeletons, I then sandblasted some of the silver off through the delicate structures leaving a pattern of veins in the gilded leaves. The middle layer was sandblasted through screen to add depth and dimension.
