Fused Glass Images, Japanese Bird

I found this image in a book on Japanese designs and absolutely love it. I made the piece using three layers of glass which gives it a lot of strength and stability. After it is fused together, I fire it again with the image at a lower temperature and it turns into a beautiful sepia color that is … permanent. The piece measures 4-1/2" x 4-1/2" and can be used as a coaster, set on an easel which I offer for $5 extra, or hung on the wall as an art piece. The border glass is Marigold.
