Fretted Writing Table, "African mahogany, Bamboo, Macassar Ebony and Maple.

Commissioned 2003.   $3,400.00

Clear satin lacquer finish.
Designed for a musician/songwriterís home studio for use while not on tour.  The legs were rough milled from a single large block of Mahogany that was collected by the client while performing in Africa in the early 1980ís.  The two vertical bands of Macassar Ebony on the narrow drawer front represent the frets on his guitar.  The single wide drawer is hand cut dovetailed maple.  The bamboo top is a portion of some original flooring discovered buried under wall to wall carpeting and salvaged during a remodel of the clients home."
