Cherry Dresser with Maple Inlays

"This dresser is solid cherry on all the appearance faces, except the side panels which are 3/4"" cherry plywood. The drawer sides are poplar which are dovetailed to the drawer front which provides a nice contrast in color on the dovetails. The interior framework pieces are various hardwoods. The contrasting detail on the drawer front is 1/4"" maple. Additional detail shots are available through my e-mail. The color and character of the cherry used in this piece is really quite awesome to me. Through the many hours of labor I spent bringing this work to fruition, contemplating the beauty and timeless value of the wood always seemed to calm me down, and rededicate my resolve to pursue the highest standards known to me.
