Piano / Desk, "The Starr Piano Co. was organized in 1872 at Richmond, Ind., by men whose names rapidly became known as among the best of American piano builders. This piano was built in 1910 and has graced the homes of many lucky family's. It came to me in a state of disrepair and was heading for the landfill. I have since made it my mission to save these great old pianos and give them a new life. I purposely leave some scars that show their journey through life, as with all of us our scars are the reminders of life's struggles and with out them we would not be who we are today. I try to use all of the parts of the piano and add only what I need in this case I used cherry wood for the deck and shelves finished with hand rubbed cherry stain and three coats of hand rubbed Poly and two coats of wax.

Happily Sold! This piano-desk has found a new home. We have several old pianos ready to start their New Life as a desk customized just for you. Phone or Email us to discuss the possibilities."
