Mesquite Liturgical Pieces, "Mesquite Wood was provided by a member of the Methodist Church in Cedar Creek TX to me to construct this beautiful Communion Table for their new building. The top measures 30"" wide x 72"" long. It is a challenge to work with this wood due to the cracks, splits and voids in the wood, however it makes a very special table. I sometimes use beautiful turquoise inlays to fill knot holes and cracks. 4"" high letters are carved on the front of the table apron. Two coats of hand rubbed lacquer were used for the finish.

Two candle stands, a Lectern and a Baptismal Font were also made for the Church. They are made from the same Mesquite to match the table.

I have also made many jewelry boxes, crosses and cutting boards from special wood provided by customers."
