Cherry, Red Oak, Sycamore, Ambrosia Maple, Walnut, Shellac Polish Finish with Brass Hardware *** I call this my Special Cabinet because it is quite an amazing combination of needs and design, and shows you just how unusual a piece I can design with you. My clients needed a compact cabinet to house a TV lift for their flat screen TV .... plus the TV satellite receiver .... plus a collection of snuff bottles in a glass front showcase .... plus necklaces and many, many pairs of earrings in hidden compartments! Another larger custom furniture maker told them they could not make it all work, but together my client and I worked through several different design options and we did make it all work! And I was able to accommodate a special request to make the legs similar to those on my award winning Chest sans Sides and my piece A Filing Cabinet. I enjoy the challenges. After discussing the project, and if possible visiting the home or business where the furniture will reside (or, if distance is prohibitive, reviewing photographs of the new home for the piece), I provide a selection of computer drawn 3-dimensional renderings of what the piece might look like so we can all visualize it. This begins the iterative give and take design process, resulting in delivery of just the right piece of furniture!
