Liberty Style Chair
Donald J. Sutkus Custom Furniture
Seattle, Washington
Four of these English Arts & Crafts style chairs were made to fill a set of existing chairs built in the early 1900's by the client's great grandfather. Much care was taken to accurately duplicate the inlaid lotus flower and rose motif on the chair back. Twelve different species of wood were used to create the marquetry design.
