\"This headboard is part of a set of bedroom furniture I custom designed and built for my client to compliment her newly remodeled bedroom. It is built from Purpleheart wood reclaimed from benches at the Capitol building in Madison, WI as well as figured cherry and some beautiful solid curly maple. A tall purpleheart and curly maple desk/table and the purpleheart and wavy soft maple table I built a while ago complete the set. The pieces are finished in oil hand rubbed polyurethane to bring out the beautiful figure in the wood as well as provide excellent protection. Shipping & Installation Information
I would be happy to ship my work just about anywhere. However, due to the complexity of preparing furniture for shipping, (building a crate, etc.) and the variety in shipping costs determined by distance, I need to determine shipping costs on an individual basis. I have shipped pieces across the country, so please do not hesitate to ask. I prefer to deliver my work in person, and would be happy to do so for free if the distance is short. For longer distances I try to keep my delivery charges as reasonable as possible. Thank you.
