Claro Walnut Rocking Chair, This striking rocking chair is made from Claro Walnut reclaimed from orchards in the San Joaquin Valley of central California that were being replanted.  The seat was made from a solid piece of burl.  The naturally occurring voids were filled with Turquoise.  You can see this chair in Gallery M in Half Moon Bay CA.  I have also made it from several other types of wood.  Send me an email and I can send you some images.
