Sideboard Cabinet, Walnut, red and white oak, cherry, quilted maple, ambrosia maple, shellac polish and French polish finish. *** This solid hardwood sideboard cabinet was designed to contain china and dining ware. It is made primarily of walnut with red oak and cherry. The center display area is LED lighted behind glass paned doors and has a glass shelf. The side doors and back panels are veneered with quilted maple, and behind the side doors are shelves. The top panels are figured ambrosia maple in a walnut frame. There are six dovetailed drawers that fit and slide perfectly to hold heavy loads. The finish is a silky shellac polish, rubbed to a fine sheen with French polish on the top and veneered panels. *** This design can be modified to your specific needs and desired woods. The custom design process is a wonderful and fulfilling collaboration between myself and my clients. After discussing the project, and if possible visiting the home or business where the piece will reside (or, if distance is prohibitive, reviewing photographs of the new home for the piece), I provide a selection of computer drawn 3-dimensional renderings of what the piece might look like so we can all visualize it in the environment. This begins the iterative give and take design process, resulting in delivery of just the right piece of furniture! I look forward to working with you to design and build the perfect sideboard for your home! *** Juried Virginia Professional Artisan: Artisans Center of Virginia, Juried Member: Rappahannock Art League, Member: The Furniture Society
