Contemporary Dresser With Hope Chest Pull Out
I made this dresser for my daughter. She had limited room in her "space" and that brought about the idea of combining a dresser and hope chest into one piece. It is contructed of maple veneers on plywood and solid walnut accents. The pulls are my own designs crafted from solid walnut. The hope chest pulls out on rollers and is guided by heavy duty tracks. It is lined with aromatic cedar. The piece could be made from different wood species if preferred. I chose plywood with a hardwood veneer for economy put solid wood could be used throughout the piece.
The dimensions are customizable. The piece shown is approx. 48" wide, 53" tall, and 28" deep.
