"Cupping Table" Built for a coffee grinding company

Naked Tree Woodworking Grass Valley, California

This very cool table is used to sample and test the quality of coffee grinds & roastings. The table turns bi-directionally 360 degrees. Because of its size (6 ft. in diameter) the support mechanism had to be sturdy and reliable. We opted for skate board trucks & wheels mounted upside down onto a three-legged support structure. The top can be turned with the pressure of a little finger. While this table was built for a commercial application, the concept can be transported to the living room as a very cool coffee table.

The top is 6 ft. in diameter and stands 44 inches off the floor
