Ambrosia Silver Maple Vase Trio , This 3-piece set was turned from Ambrosia Silver Maple. The beautiful but rare brown/grey streaks are caused by Ambrosia beetles. They burrow into the tree, thus creating the small holes and coloration. The first vessel (#239) was turned with a natural bark edge. This wood also has wonderful chatoyance which is difficult to see in the photos. The three pieces are available individually or as a set of 2 or 3. <br>
Each piece was finished with 2 coats of a water-based poly and polished.
