Front Range Table
Burgess Fine Woodworking
Eagle, Colorado
Inspired by the majestic view from the client’s home on the Eastern edge of the Rocky Mountains, this table blends rough textures and fluid curves. The back edge ascends from the flat-plain of the tabletop with a chip-carved pattern, which is subtly echoed on the inside of legs. This texture is accentuated by the lively figure of the lacewood aprons and the walnut burl medallion. The hand-carved bead on the leg’s edge adds tension to the sensual curves and is repeated under the aprons. [Cherry, Australian Lacewood, Walnut burl]
