New Empire Chair

The New Empire Chair is handcrafted using a solid 1 1/4 inch maple frame with pegged mortise and tenon joinery. The chair\'s front is inlaid with a decorative marquetry banding. All exposed wood is finished with hand rubbed oil and wax. The New Empire Chair is upholstered using eight way hand tied coil springs and is padded with all natural horsehair and cotton. The cushions are stuffed with down and feathers. Shown here in cherry.
