The design of this piece features a modern take on the gothic arch motif to create a focal point in a Deco-era New York apartment. The doors are made from pattern-matched solid materials, rather than veneer. The piece was designed in three sections so that it couldbe easily shipped and transported up to the client\'s apartment in her building\'s very small elevator. Materials are figured bubinga, maple, mahogany, aluminum, abalone, and glass.
