Soaring Eagles, This piece depicting bald eagles was carved from moose antler and painted with acrylic. It is made entirely from antler, with the smaller eagle carved separately and attached. Though many people think I use glass eyes in my antler carvings, they are carved and painted antler. A sculpture such as this requires a special antler to begin with; I have only carved four similar to this in the last ten years. In my eagle antler carvings I seek to portray the majesty of eagles in flight, working with the Creator's sculptural design of the moose antler.

Shipping & Installation Information

I will charge for the construction of the special shipping container required for such a carving plus the actual shipping costs. I usually ship antlers by UPS.

A wire is installed on the back of the antler for hanging on an angled nail or screw or on a hook.
