Lap-Joined Frame, Lap-joined frames provide a versatility unlike any other joint. There can be an overlapped joint where each corner overlaps one another, a closed joint where the corners are flush to each other, or even a rail that is slightly recessed below the stiles. The style of frame can look like a Craftsman frame or a Mission frame depending on what you would like the frame to appear. This type of frame is typically designed with rails and stiles of the same width and most commonly one inch to one and a quarter inch. However, there are frames that have been constructed where the width has been as wide as three inches.
You can choose from my standard size frames or if you have a need for something of a different size you can contact me for a quote.
