Triangular Side Table, The solid leopardwood top has a strategically placed band of curly maple inlay to match the inlaid wenge legs. The lower shelf bows out slightly to add an organic curve to an otherwise linear table. The legs protrude through the top plane to reveal their curly maple stripe. Fine craftsmanship and attention to detail often set our pieces apart from other furniture, and allow our pieces to work seamlessly into their new environment. The direction of the stripes in the legs of this piece, for example, were very important to the layout of the room. The chair backs up to windows, so the prime viewing direction of the room was from the front of the chair. Careful attention to proportion helps this piece hold its own in this very contemporary living room.
