The only visible hardware are the bolts that provide support for the front legs and the back. The chair is finished in white but other colors are available or it can be left natural with an outdoor finish. Before Woodsmith Enterprises began operating as a business we were making outdoor furniture. We sold it locally and repeatedly we began by making Adirondack chairs. We then progressed to making outdoor bench\\\\\\\'s, tables and chairs. Our outdoor furniture such as our Adirondack chairs are made of cypress or western red cedar. Our benches can be made of any material. We have made a variety of bench\\\\\\\'s and chairs however if you have a specific bench in mind for a specific location we can make it for you. All of our pieces are shipped fully assembled. We plug all screw holes were appropriate and finish the pieces in any color you desire.\\\\\\\"$
