"Desk was rescued and refinished to itís current glory. The desk was found with itís veneer peeling and in need of a new finish. Otherwise, it was a solid, well made desk upon itís rescue. Drawer fronts were replaced with the intricate African Burl veneer. The desktop was also replaced and finished off with a dark stain and high gloss finish. For a desk that was destined for a very sad ending (the landfill) this beautiful desk now sits proudly in a childís room waiting to help nightly with homework!"
