Custom Maple Dresser with HandCarved Detail Pieces

"This dresser is made of solid maple. The drawers are all 5/8"" thick and dovetailed. The drawer bottoms are 1/2"" maple hardwood plywood. The drawers are wrapped with a hand carved detail pieces which is very unique. The base of the unit is a hand cut scalopped detail. The finish is a multistep which consists of staining the first coat, then a clear coat, then a painted white finish, then a painted light avocado paint with additional sanding and distressing. The tracks are Blumotion undermount softclose. Another unique aspect of this piece is that the sides are mitered to the top of the dresser so there is no endgrain exposed in the wood. The miters are reinforced with floating mortise and tenon joinery for a superb joint."
