Cherry Birch Motorized Custom TV Lift Cabinet
"Motorized TV lift cabinets are one of neatest ways to organize your flat panel plasma or LCD televisions. These pop-up designs truly take full advantage of the flat nature of the TV and allow you to conveniently tuck it out of sight when not in use. This particular design is shown with a 46"" Mitsubishi LCD television. The furniture is manufactured in birch wood with a museum quality cherry finish. Three full extension drawers are aligned on the top of the furniture providing storage for CDs, DVDs, and video games as well as extra cables, manuals, and remote controls. A common theme with many of our lift cabinets is to hide the electronics behind wood doors to really provide a concealed look when the TV is not in use. In each of this situations we install what is called an infrared repeater. This is a simple device that allows your remote control signals to operate your electronics while the door remains fully closed. To further highlight the beauty of the furniture a pair of soft arch clear glass doors were installed with an 3/8"" thick adjustable glass shelf in each one. These two display areas featured display lights that could be turned on and off via a touch dimmer control. In this particular application, the lift design was ideal to help preserve the view of the backyard when the TV was not in use. Other common applications include placing lifts at the foot of the bed, on short walls, or in areas where you might want to protect your view of artwork."
