As an example, Rob won a finalist place for his Quoddy Hope Chest in the “Maine Woods 2008” competition held by the Center for Furniture Craftsmanship in Rockport, ME. I believe that furniture designed for the individual has special meaning, and will be treasured by you and your family. My goal is to make a unique furniture piece to please you and that you will make the best use of in your daily life. Because each piece I make is custom made, individual features can be built in just for you. Each piece is made with the pride of fine craftsmanship, classical precision joinery, and a hand rubbed finish. Wood types, finishes, stains and size can also be altered to accommodate your preferences, and use. I make pieces for all rooms of your home or office. I work with each customer on a one on one basis to capture all of the details for your furniture piece. Drawings are created to show you exactly what the furniture pieces will look like before work commences and to insure accuracy of your ideas have been captured. I specialize in developing furniture pieces and cabinetry for Home Theater systems and Media rooms. Let me design a unique Home Theater/Media center to suit your specific needs for that new Plasma or LCD HDTV. I have over 17 years experience making fine furniture. I previously worked in the high–tech industry and have more than 30 years experience as an electrical engineer architecting data communications equipment for the Internet. I have always had a passion for creating something new to solve a practical need. Over the years I grew a passion for creating things of practical beauty in wood. I have found woodworking to be a creative outlet. My passion also took me to building my own post and beam home and shop in the early 90’s. Commissions are happily accepted.
