"Mountain Woodworks crafts high-quality furniture from pine beetle wood harvested from the pine trees that were subject to the Rocky Mountain pine beetle blight. Each piece is one of a kind using a book matching technique to create a mirror like image of each side, including the trim. The spectrum of colors caused by the beetle staining ranges from blue, blue black and grey to yellow, orange, purple and red giving each piece its unique look. We are happy to accommodate any requests for custom work."
