Mission Cherry BedroomHere is an example of one of our made to order beds along side a beautiful side chest. When you order a bed, we will ask you want the exact height of your mattress and box spring are so that we can position the headboard to fit your mattress. We'll also make sure your mattress is the height off the floor that you want. The headboard section of the bed is carefully mortised into the bed posts for long time stability. Both the Cherry bed and side chest are both handmade from 100% solid Black Cherry locally harvested and milled in Michigan. The finish includes 4 coats of natural oil hand-rubbed in with sanding in between each coat. The result is a satiny smooth finish that is totally non-toxic and easy to maintain.
