Contemporary Family Living Room

This Tailored Contemporary Interior is 30 stories above the Museum of Modern Art, in Manhattan, NY.

The interior paneling and cabinets are highly Figured Cherry, sequenced matched.

Working in NY has it’s 'quirks', one of which is how to cover the heat convectors, always found under the windows. In this project, as many others, we built wall to wall storage cabinets to either side with an access panel to service the convector.

Meticulously detailed, a 'Tailored Room" is your special place to enjoy. I call these rooms, 'tailored', because of the exact custom fit and the amount of attention to every detail that goes into every square inch of these very personal rooms.
Whether it's a library, office, bar, game room, family room, media room or bedroom. The walls, windows, jambs, doors, floor, ceiling are brought together with the cabinets, paneling and transitional moldings to present a completely, "Tailored Room".
From contemporary to traditional, eclectic or theme, whatever your design period or style tastes may be, we'll design, build and install, the room for you.
