Corner cabinet
-dimensions: h 76" w 36" d 18" -materials: reclaimed yellow pine, antique wheel, glass shelves -process: This idea for this corner cabinet was concieved during a trip to the Cotswolds in England. It has English arts and crafts design features and refined constuuction techniques. This was the first piece I made using the reclaimed wood and antique hardware.
I design and build furniture with both reclaimed lumber and unusual grades of wood. My pieces also have, as a focal point, antique tools, machine parts, and other scrapped objects. As a designer builder I follow various theories of the original English and European Arts and Crafts movements of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.
