This custom made desk is solid wood with a custom veneer panel. It is of maple and walnut woods with hand carved drawers, and mortise and tennon construction. The design is elegant yet playful and sturdy, with a certain zoomorphic character to it. The drawers feature relief carved images within of the two sides of the "Indian Head" nickel.
