VIENNA BEDThe Vienna line is inspired by the smooth curves of turn of the century design in Vienna, Austria. This metal and wood bed is made from flat bar, mild steel and cherry wood. The headboard stands 40" high and the footboard is 28" high. This is a queen size bed but can be custom made in other sizes. The wood can be custom made in any wood such as walnut, mahogany or birch. This work was shown at the International Furniture Fair in NY 1996 and at Limn in San Francisco in 1997. This piece, having simple, reproduce-able curves, was designed for furniture showrooms and retail. Also available, but not shown is the Vienna armoire, large dresser and nightstand. Tripoli designs and fabricates custom furniture, staircases and architectural elements for both indoors and outdoors. His focus is creating artistic hand forged steel structures combined with other natural materials such as hardwoods, blown glass, and stone. More work can be seen at www.tripolidesigns.com.
Tyrome Tripoli has been designing and manufacturing custom furniture, fixtures, staircases and architectural elements since 1992. Inspired by natural forms, the work suggests a contemporary art nouveau style.
