French Country trestle table
Reproduction early 18th C Country French twin baluster trestle table. Table is in solid Walnut, two inch thick top, with clamped ends and delicate shaped detail on lower stretcher. Finish is medium dark Walnut, sealed with shellac and top coated with acrylic lacquer for ease of maintenance. Table is constructed of selected solid Black Walnut, and weighs in excess of 300 pounds.
We build custom furniture and period reproductions, both French and English. Carving, veneering, and french polishing are done to the highest standards, using the best materials, (no contact cement or paper-back veneers are used, ever).
