Armock Buffet

This custom buffet commission turned into a furniture artisan's dream. Once we established function; space constraints and basic storage needs, number of drawers and wood types, the clients happen to pick the design sketch I'd been wanting to build for years. A curved-front floating top of Ambrosia Maple hovers over a Black Walnut cabinet. Chechen wood inlays accent the asymmetrical Quilted Maple doors with a curved center opening. A Crotch Black Walnut vertical center post conceals a compartment abutting Birdseye Maple drawers with curved Chechen inlays. The pulls are hand carved Ebony.
