Designed and built mostly in the Arts and Crafts style but seasoned with Early American Crotch Mahogany Panels. Blind and Thru-mortises are the primary construction method. A few accent pieces of Ipe are incorporated as square plugs and hard edges on the long corners of the posts. Finish: Hand rubbed Linseed Oil, polyurethane and wax. Matches the Nightstand. Each piece of custom handcrafted furniture that I create is functional fine art made with the intent to last many lifetimes. Even after 25 years in woodworking, it is always challenging, with no end to the styles, shapes, designs and combinations of materials.
