Hand carved birdseye maple sideboardA hand carved birdseye maple sideboard, with Wenge accents and solid sandstone inlaid into a birdseye Maple frame. The sandstone has a hardness quotient of granite, and is unique to a small quarry in West Virginia. The substantial hand dovetailed drawers are fronted with sculpted birdseye maple. Behind each of the lockable cabinet drawers is a adjustable corner shelf. This sideboard is 70" x 20" x 36"
My work is about taking full advantage of wood's beauty and tactile nature, while rigidly adhering to traditional methods of construction. You have to touch my furniture, and you should, as every element has been sculpted and hand shaped.
