Chapel Communion Table
This is one of three matching pieces built for a church chapel. The congregation was interested in a traditional but simple design, with inlays of an intricate Celtic Cross on each of the pieces. Strider's worked for several weeks to get just the right look. The table is made of solid and veneered mahogany, with a satinwood border on the top, maple line inlays on the legs and, of course, the Cross on the front rail and in the center of the top. Each part of the Cross is laser-cut, and assembled by hand. It is finished in a durable, high-quality furniture lacquer, with glazing to add hue and highlighting. It will last for generations.
