Cherry library wall
This custom job was designed from a sketch and a picture from a magazine, supplied by the customer. It consists of a 14' built-in desk and bookcase unit installed in a small library. The wood is black cherry, and the raised panel doors are from book-matched cathedral-grain cherry veneer. The massive raised panel bonnet at the top makes the entire unit over 9' tall, in a room with 11' ceilings. Drawer sides are from hard white maple, with dovetail construction. There are pull out trays behind the lower doors for a printer and other peripherals. Every bookcase, entertainment center, or kitchen we build is different, and based on input from the customer. Strider's does not have a 'standard' style of anything. We're much more than just another cabinet shop. Our extensive background in high-end casegoods, our familiarity with traditional and transitional styling, allows us to work with you to design exactly the right piece for your home or office.
