Birdseye Maple and Cherry Blanket ChestThis custom designed blanket chest is constructed of an incredible Birdseye Maple top, figured maple panels and cherry structure. This photo shows the chest right after I built it, so the natural cherry will mellow to a darker reddish brown over time. The piece is finished in multiple layers of wipe on polyurethane.
