 TV UnitThis unit was designed for a client who wanted a modern TV console to compliment her Asian-influenced décor. The unit was built entirely in maple with a view toward maximizing DVD/CD storage. Each of the larger drawers has a center divider, and the unit houses more than 300 DVDs. The lower levels were left open to accommodate electronic components and/or other decorative pieces. The dimensions of the TV console are as follows: 6'6" long x 26" high x 18" deep. The unit was dyed to a deep mahogany color, and finished with multiple coats of satin polyurethane. The use of hardware was minimized, and so the drawers run smoothly on wooden rails vs. commercial metal drawer runners.
