![]() Neoclassical style cabinet on standThe body is maple, inlayed with macassar ebony with mahogany stringing and cherry cock beading on the drawers. It is 16”d x 44” w x 77” h and is trimmed in persimmon and birds eye maple. The drawers are drawn by using the keys as there are no pulls. The center door contains a mirrored shadow box that is veneered in checkered pattern receding with perspective. This cabinet was designed to have a shallow profile to fit without obstructing household traffic. It is used to house personal papers. The small chest on the floor is of satinwood with inlays of macassar.
