Piano RestorationRefinishing is an art form in it self, my specialty is matching stains both texture and finish if the arm of a chair has issues but the rest of the chair is good then I will never take off that great old finish I will just make the arm match the rest of the chair. When I refinish an antique my goal is that you as a onlooker to the piece would not know that it had just been refinished rather I want you to say man that chair is in amazing condition it must have been well cared for its entire life. When you have an antique you don’t want it to look “new” the goal should always be to look well cared for. For that reason I leave in some of the scaring again, it is a careful balance but after 30 years I know what I am looking for.
I take in old pianos that can no longer hold tune for one reason or another and turn them into pieces of art/furniture after getting cancer I wanted to do something I love and making these grand old pianos come back to life is both a challenge and a joy. I also do antique furniture repair and refinishing. Area Served: Middle Tennessee ![]() HOME |
