Made from solid figured mahogany, this desk is a wonderful place to sit to compose a letter on fine stationary or an e-mail on a laptop computer. A compass star inlay and fine stringing made of rosewood and holly provide accents to the outside of the lid and drawer fronts. Behind the desk lid is a detailed interior gallery with numerous finely dovetailed drawers; perfect for holding pens, papers and computer disks. Four secret drawers are hidden throughout the gallery for concealing valuable items and special documents.
