Demilune tables

Mahogany Curly Maple Demilune tables

The aprons and legs on this pair of Mahogany Curly Maple Demilune tables are made by laminating (13 layers for the apron, 17 layers for the legs) 1/16" thick veneers in a form, and then shaping them with both hand and power tools to fit each other.

The fan pattern top is made by alternating book matched re-sawn Curly Maple veneers.

The finish on these naturaly colored tables is hand rubbed lacquer over shellac.
