#124 The 24"x 30" purpleheart top is contoured to give the appearance of movement, but is held in place by delicate arms made of cherry. Quilted maple make up a strong and firm stance. The height of this piece is 24 inches tall. I wanted a second shelf with enough space to be useful without hiding … the combined woods. The cherry arms had to be graceful, yet show craftsmanship through the purpleheart bowtie joints in the elbows. The cherry then descends to the quilted maple legs by combining purpleheart to bring the colors to the floor. This is a signed and numbered original.
