Golden Oak Restorationproduced for a client of Artisans of the Valley

About this item

Price not specified

"Golden Oak" - perhaps the best known of the machine made mass-produced American furniture of the early 20th Century. Designed as office and home furniture, these pieces feature a trademark quarter sawn oak in solid or veneer. Obsessively well made, these pieces survived generations of the worst-case furniture abuse known, and are now breaking records with their selling prices today.
Artisans of the Valley boasts to have on hand two of the last formally trained Master Craftsmen- Founder Stanley D. Saperstein and his son Eric M. Saperstein. Our work is museum quality including conservation of finish and structure, veneer, structure and parts, and carving replacement and restoration. We use traditional hand cut stains & finishes ensuring your treasures receive the appropriate attention.
