I carved this hair stick from a branch gifted me from Guava tree. Loads of character, some old wounds up under the flower that don't affect the durability in any way. The shape is a screw, you actually screw it into and out of your hair - talk about staying
… power! This is a very unusual wood with a cool light greenish tint - hard beautiful fruit wood.
The ornament at the top is a vintage enamel flower in a lovely deep blue color.
This piece is 5 3/4 inches in length, the wood working portion is 5 1/4 inches.
