Each barrette was hand crafted of dichroic or/and color glass, and covered with opalescent/ clear glass on the top. After … the first fusing, I reshaped them and kiln fired again with a long annealed time for strength and shine. Next, I attached them to a hair clip (made in France, this hair clip is higher quality and holds hair very well) with a special clear adhesive. Dichroic glass comes in hundreds of colors and designs, so you could be the exclusive owner of a one of a kind hair clip.

The most enjoyable part for me is to create new glass pieces. On the other hand, the worst is to take pictures of those hair clips. Glass reflects natural light, flash, shades, and surrounding colors. The real depths and hues of pieces can be best seen in person. I always try my best, so even if pictures are worth a thousand words, they don't justify the true beauty of glass.
